Daily Affirmations: I Can Achieve Whatever I Set My Mind To
Plus: A Bonus Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Quote on Perseverance
Greetings Readers,
Today’s post is another Daily Affirmation, following on the heals of Sunday’s Daily Affirmation, because I feel as though we can all use this one today. I know I certainly can! A little explanation…
Over the past few weeks I have been going to physical therapy 3 - 4 days a week for lumbar issues and neck/shoulder issues. I have at least another 3 weeks to go. Last Wednesday I finally added walking back into the mix and I hoping that I can achieve of all of this and round the corner for a while on my arthritis and fibromyalgia pain flare that has been going on since February.
When I post my Daily Affirmations here on Words and Pictures, I am posting them in hopes that my readers find them relatable and helpful, and I am also re-minding myself of things that I need help with too.
Today, I re-mind myself that I can achieve whatever I set my mind to.
Sometimes I might feel overwhelmed, as though I have taken on more than I can handle.
That is a natural feeling that we all get from time to time.
When that happens, I must step back, take a deep breath and take on each task, one by one, until I have completed them all.
In this, I become one with the process of going with the flow. I create the flow of my workload and I allow myself the time to get it all done.
I often take on more than I should, so today, instead of feeling overwhelmed,
I accept that I have much to do and I set my intent to get it done.
And so it is... Intent makes manifest.
Namaste... Pamela

Bonus Quote of the Day:
Today’s Bonus Quote of the Day fits with the theme of achieving what you set your mind to. We all know that sometimes perseverance is required to achieve some things.
"Perseverance is a great element of success. If you knock long enough and loud enough at the gate, you are sure to wake up somebody." - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
