It seems that this afternoon brought in the first snow. The plows are out, there’s an inch or two in the back yard already. Traffic is slowing down as people head home to get off the roads tonight.
The snow made me think of this black and white winter reflection photo I took a few years ago when I lived up river from Lowell’s Boat Shop.
With this the first significant snow, I was also reminded of this poem…
In the Peace of a Winter's Night
In the peace of
a winter's night
I saw my reflection
in the snow.
I was older
and so much wiser,
yet, there was
so much
I did not know.
I hope you all enjoyed!
