I know I'm anthropomorphizing, but that little bluebird seems like such a happy little guy. Not a dashing cardinal or a tough guy bluejay; not an industrious but face-in-the- crowd sparrow. Just a happy little fella.
I've got the same tendency with dogs, too. So I'm not just weird about birds.
Beautiful affirmation today. I like that it says that one should not feel guilty. A trap I fall into more than I like to admit. Your photographs are amazing. That little bird is so colorful. Good luck on transferring data. A tedious job. Thanks, Pamela.
Thank you Monica! I need to get back to writing more Affirmations in the future. I know I can definitely use them. I'm glad you enjoyed the bluebirds. The data transfer is at an impasse for a day or so I think. I've been at it for 6 days and still have so much to do!
Yeah. It is alot and I still have all my other files and folders, manuscripts and other writing, taxes, old files from my now defunct business. I might save too much!
We are two peas in a pod. I save everything because you never know. I’m getting a little better at it as I have been told you can go online and look it up. I do like that hard copy.
I need hard copies of things. I have lots of old graphic art I created for my business and other things from my business that I will dump at some point when I finish my memoir about those years. I should have moved all this data in November 2023 when I started using the new PC, but there was the surgery in December and then time got away with me.
Exciting news Paula! Keep me posted! I love Bath, by the way. If usually go up the coast to Eastport most summers. I didn't get up there last summer so I am hoping I might make a couple of trips up this year.
Beautiful photos, Pamela. The bluebirds are adorable.
You've had several days of work transfering data from one computer to another, so it's understandable why your creativity felt depleted. I love your affirmation. We need to be patient with ourselves, and the creativity returns.
Thanks Beth. I am taking a data break. I have dilemma to figure out about transferring my old Lightroom catalog so a little research to do and then back at it. The last time I did data transfer was maybe 10 years ago so the catalog was a lot smaller.
Thanks Rod, It is relatable for all of us who are creative. My project is a lot of work. I am taking a little break from it this morning. Back at it later today.
Pamela, this seems like such a lovely trail. I am thinking of taking my daughter up north a bit to do some biking on it (if it is allowed, of course) How long is the trail, btw?
Hi Kevin, The rail trails in Newburyport, Amesbury, Newbury and Salisbury are all bike friendly and connect the four towns at various intersections. All told there is about 30 miles of trails between the four towns. You might want to check out this link for more information. https://coastaltrails.org/about/
Also, the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge on Plum Island is bike friendly but the road is dirt about half way down.

That little bluebird definitely looks like a happy little guy. Animals always seem to bring and/or symbolize a lot of joy! Birds, dogs, cats...

Good to take a break and go back to it. I find less errors that way. 😂
I need a break and my newer PC needs an update.
Ugh on the update

Stay tuned.., I saw a male and female bluebird at my feeder in Bath ME on Saturday

I also read that red winged blackbirds were heard in Newcastle NH. So they’re on their way.
I heard and saw a small flock of them a week ago in Newbury, Mass. I am heading over to that area now and will keep an eye out for more.
My thoughts about this post her love and my love about this post are the beautiful thoughts it entails and encompasses.
Bless this moment
Jill, Bless you and this moment! Love is everything and all encompassing! !
I love this bluebird. Never seen one, even in pictures. Your photos are so clear and beautiful! Thank you 🙏
Marcia, I am so glad you enjoyed them. They are adorable little birds.
Beautiful images of those Eastern Bluebirds, Pamela. This is one bird on my to-see list and hoping to see one later this Spring.
Neil, I hope you see one this Spring! I am pretty sure you should get breeding eastern bluebirds up in your area!
Love blue birds! Thoreau thought they should be our National Bird. Red, white and blue
Danny, Thoreau was on to something! Actually he was on to a lot of things, wasn't he!
Very resonant Pamela. Sometimes the hardest part of creativity is taking time to not be creative and rest, so creativity comes more easily.
Thank you James. I am quite data'd out at the moment. I totally need a break from the computer and some outdoors time!
This is such a timely and resonant post, thank you, Pamela. The photos of the eastern bluebird are really lovely, so colorful in the light.
Thank you Heidi! I am glad this resonated with you. The eastern bluebirds really are little darlings. I hope to see some at my feeder soon.

Such a sweet little bluebird
Thank you Teyani! They are very sweet. I need to get some mealworms to put in my feeder to entice them into the yard to feed.
I love bluebirds! We have a few boxes I hope they use them.
Jane, I hope you have lots of lovely bluebirds and chicks in your boxes! I am excited for you!
I can relate to this, Pamela. Thanks for a timely post. Your project sounds like a lot of work!
Thanks Rod, It is relatable for all of us who are creative. My project is a lot of work. I am taking a little break from it this morning. Back at it later today.
Beautiful, peaceful photos.
Thank you!

Let me know if you do head up this way!
Springtime walks in Portland, OR. are like walking through a floral wonderland.
Stacy, I hope you will share some photos, and please tag me!
