Excellent affirmation to meditate on Pamela with the perfect symbol of an owl. There is something contemplative I sense in owls and different than other birds. Beautiful images and thank you for sharing.
Pamela, I hear you. I have been under a lot of stress lately, with the political fiascos and health concerns. Your post has calmed me down; the owl is beautiful, and the self-care tips are great. I happen to love Julia Cameron. She's so wise.
Beth, It’s a lot to deal with right now, with our personal concerns and this crazy political stuff. I am just dumbfounded by so much of it. I’m so glad this post helped to calm you and you enjoyed the self-care tips. Julia Cameron is very wise and has provided us with many gifts.
This is a beautiful post, Pamela. It resonates on so many levels, the need to rest, to practice relaxation and renewal of body and spirit. I really love the owl photos and see them in a kind of totemic way along with your writing.
Heidi, I am glad this resonated with you. I feel the barred owl is one of my lesser totems. It’s come around at various times when I have needed its wisdom. I am grateful for that. We all need extra rest right now, don’t we… Thank you!
I have been very much in chronic fatigue mode since I have covid over Christmas. My daughter and I were talking about that earlier today. And on that note, I think I will return to NOTES tomorrow to get back to more replies!
Love this Pamela. You offer so much to your readers despite being in uncertain times yourself.
The owl photos are great particularly the one who hides behind a tree limb and pretends she is invisible! I relate! Sending you blessings and love. And a new HOME. ❤️
Oh how I dream being more like a Barred Owl, to relish stillness and just take in the world around me without the niggling wriggling worms of to do lists in the foreground that drag me away every time... you say "Pausing to take stock always helps us to come back to center, and be in the moment and go with the flow." My troubles begin right there... I can never pause long enough before the next urgent need appears. I hope you have more time for stillness lovely...
Thank you Susie! Owls are beautiful and fascinating. I am always grateful when they my path crosses with an owl!
Beautiful daily reflection! Let’s pause to reflect
Thank you Sonal, I am so glad you enjoyed this reflection.
Have a lovely day, Pamela💕💕💕
Thank you Diane! You too!
A lovely start to my day! Thank you
Hi Jenine, I am so glad this resonated with you this morning. Thank you!
Thank you. As usual your affirmation speaks to me . Have a wonderful day, Pamela.
Monica, I am so glad this spoke to you. I hope you have a wonderful day too.
I love owls so much
it's very hard to allow oneself something, sometimes
those two sentences don't have any connection, except that I wrote them both
thank you, Pamela
Chen, I love owls too. They are magical. And I agree, it is very hard to allow oneself something, sometimes. Thank you!
Love your owl photos. Owls are one of my guardians.
I do so hope that you’re able to solve the housing issue soonest
Thank you Teyani! Owls are very special guardians. No new housing news. The waiting continues. I stay busy in the meantime. Thanks for asking.

Thank you Neil! I would like to come back as an owl perhaps in another life…

We do need extra rest, there was a lunar eclipse last night and the weather is still wintry. I always feel better when I give myself downtime.
