The sunrise is coming. If there were any shutters, this morning they were thrown open by the posts and comments of the beautiful truths posted here on substack.
This from my aka: Dr. Florence Withit...but you can call me Flo.
Beautiful post, Pamela. I really like the abstract imagery and the metaphors of water and waves and what bubbles up, a kind of deep dive in consciousness. Hope you are feeling rested and enjoy the weekend.
@Heidi Zawelevsky, I am so glad you enjoyed this post. I have tried a couple of times to replicate this and have not found much success. I’m feeling a bit more rested and longing for a quiet weekend here.
Enjoyed this post a lot. Your images are beautiful. I just finished a photo book on walking through the first year of COVID that is the opposite of abstract.
Very interesting project. I have a couple of pre-Covid projects I would like to bring to completion. Your post is inspiring. I can also related to the reinventing of careers. Been there done that a few times.
Great point Pamela on the fluidity of water: "Constantly changing, always moving like water, life is a very fluid process that takes us through so many complex situations that can perplex us, as a piece of abstract art might."
I've been reminding myself of this point the past few weeks, using water as a symbol and metaphor for life and living in the present moment.
Thank you Neil. Water is always present in my life. I’ve spent a lot of time watching water move or appear to be still but actually be moving. When I lived across the street from the river a few years ago, I could actually feel the tides of the river moving back and forth. It was rather profound.
Oh Pamela. Capturing the continued life in the glass with your photos is amazing! Well done.
“ (Glass) It is an amorphous solid—a state somewhere between those two states of matter. And yet glass's liquidlike properties are not enough to explain the thicker-bottomed windows,(in old cathedrals) because glass atoms move too slowly for changes to be visible.” Scientific American
I loved your post and the photos. Thank you for being positive amongst all the negativity. It means a lot to me. I want to subscribe but I just do not have it right now. Maybe later on this year I can.
Really enjoyed this. The color and movement captured are incredible. Great advice too. Go with the flow.
Thank you Monica. I’m so glad you enjoyed these photos. Going with the flow… Off to see how the river goes this afternoon.

Beautiful images Pamela, thank you for sharing. The photos urge us: go with the flow
Thank you James! That is one of my favorite stretches of the Merrimack, from both sides.
Beautiful 🤩
Thank you Paolo!
Pamela, i so appreciate the movement and prompt in these photos to open to perceiving and receiving the awareness detail allude to…. 💜
Thank you katsden! This was such a magical thing to have captured with the camera. Perception was so present when I felt the urge to take the photos.

Excellent.:)
Thank you! A little less screen time has been helpful.
I get that!
Way too much happening right now. Hoping to get back to myself again soon.
Sending healing vibes!

@Glenn Cook Thank you. I am so glad you enjoyed! I’d be curious about the photobook…
Here’s a post I wrote about it, with a video teaser at the bottom — https://substack.com/home/post/p-156342794

Teyani, I am so glad you enjoyed this! These photos are among my favorites! I love this quote about glass, thank you for sharing it.
That was such a challenging period, yet you captured beauty in your photos.
Rod, I really was a challenging time. It definitely changed us.
Beautiful. And, I must have color in my world. Striking colors that pop and make me take notice. TY 🧡
Thank you so much Aka Stella! I am glad you enjoyed!
Thank you all for your comments and for indulging me this trip through the archives!
Pamela, I love the vivid colors, patterns, and shapes you captured. The water looks amazing from every angle.
Hang in there; I am hoping you are feeling rejuvenated soon.
