Friday was a stellar day to walk the beach. The sky was blue and the clouds of August rested on the horizon. It was low tide, always the best time to walk the beach. The sand is hard and flat, and you can get a good pace going and just slip into the bliss zone. That’s one of the big things for me when walking in nature. I love to get into the bliss zone and become one with the nature around me.
As we walked , we noticed there was quite a kite display up ahead that was quite fun to see!
And we kept walking… Seaweed littered the beach along the water’s edge.
And then we found little sandpipers all along the edge of the shore as well.
We kept walking… And it was a perfect day for it!
Saturday's weather was overcast, cloudy, and thick with humidity however, it was still a fabulous day to walk the beach at low tide.
It was quieter on the beach, less people given the weather. Summer days on the beach have are gone now. The kinds are back in school and the beach is left to those of who are there to walk.
And so we walked along as others did, who also came to walk. As you can see in the photos, the beach has been well trodden, with many footprints in the sand.
There will be plenty more days to walk the beach in the coming months as Fall creeps in and brings a chill to the air. All the better for walking is my thought on cooler weather.
I hope you all enjoyed the beach photographs and the weather comparison. Stay tuned for more posts this week…

Thank you,Pamela! I felt like I was walking with you, smelling the salt air and seaweed. Alas, my home in Indiana is landlocked.
The kites look so lovely and colourful!
