Morning Pamela from NZ! Lovely to see your post "magically" appear in my inbox as I opened my lap top lid today. That book on fairies I will add to my list. Looks wonder full. I also am a believer and that gorgeous fairy den would be where I would live if I was a fairy! I wish I was sometimes. All the best with the small steps Pamela. I join you in beginning my next move today also, packing up some treasures, and wondering if there will be space for them in my new even smaller space.
Step by step we go Pamela, holding hands, with our guardian fairies on our shoulders. Much Love xxx💚💚💚
Good afternoon from New England! I'm glad to know I popped up on your laptop this morning. I just loved that fairy den, the top photo, I found it on my walk last month. When you get a chance message me about your next move. Wishing you all the best and more. Our guardian fairies will keep us. Love to you! xoxoxoxo
I love this Yeats quote so thank you for that! And I, too, have the Celtic soul and dream of relocating to Ireland, to either Mayo or Kerry , where my paternal grandparents are from. I'm working on it. Hoping your move goes smoothly and your transition is comfortable.
Hi Alycia, I'm glad you enjoyed the Yeats quote! Thank for your well wishes. It's good to finally be moving after months of not knowing where. I think it would be grand to relocate to Ireland, I'll settle for a visit or two or three!
I am a fan of the fairies too Pamela! I love that there is a book about New England fairies and hope you write about it after you read it. Thanks for the beautiful, thought provoking images. Good luck with your move!
Hi Donna, It's always good to know who the fairy folks are! Thanks so much on the well wishes for my move. This evening I brought some kitchen stuff open. I guess this is finally happening!
Thank you Heidi! This weekend I’m moving a lot of small stuff over, because the new place is right around the corner. It’s a slow move guided by wonderful moving fairies!
Next weekend will move the furniture and then I will be in.
I saw a chipmunk yesterday afternoon when I was there, a rabbit in the back the other day.
There was a wild turkey this afternoon. I did see a Tom over there the day I signed my lease. Lots of Robins and Sparrows. I have a shepherds hook and bird feeder to put up. :)
Hi Beth, It's finally happening. The little place is starting to look far better than it did when I first saw it. Now I am keeping my fingers crossed that the furniture I have to move will fit. Some stuff is going in storage and some my daughter is taking. Thank you. I hope you have a great weekend!
I'm glad you're taking your time with the actual move. Hoping all goes smoothly. May your guardian fairy stay near and keep an eye on things. Good luck with all of it!
Hi Nancy, Yes, it's really easier doing this. Pack a little. Brings some stuff over. Pick up necessary items like curtains, rugs. We found a really fun shower curtain today that makes the small bathroom alive. Thank you!
How fun! And I adore Galway 🩷 Blessings on the move & settling in 🙏
Thank you Leanne. My move will help me in my quest for Galway. All things are connected.

❤️🧚🧚♂️🧚♀️💜
I join you in my love of Yeats ... good luck on the move.
Thank you Mary! Yeats speaks to my Celtic soul!
I've only "Faeries" by Brian Froud and Allan Lee; I think it was either my first or second book I bought upon coming to the US.
I wanted to buy some more of their books then, but somehow never did.
thank you for the post, Pamela, -and may your move go smoothly💚
Thank you Chen! I don't have that book and will look for it. I am so grateful you mentioned it.
Oh they're great. You'll enjoy it.
I am familiar with this book. I bought it for my daughter years ago!
@Tim Burns Thanks so much for restacking this!
I hope the fairies help make your move light and a wonderful adventure.
Thank you so much Sharon! I hope so too 🧚♂️

Best wishes on the move to your new place, Pamela.
Thank you Neil. I'll be glad to be back to posts about walks in nature and just plain having the bandwidth to write about other things!

lOVELY, AS ALWAYS!
Thank you so much Terry! I am going to reach out when I get moved.
Good luck with the move and I hope the new place is all you hope for, Pamela.
Thank you James! It's a far cry from all I hope for, but it will do. All I hope for is far too much to expect and that is okay!
Pamela, good luck with your move this weekend and may the moving fairies help you make this transition!

That's a good way to stage the move and I'm very optimistic with these critter totems coming around you already!

Most auspicious!
Yay! I'm glad the move is finally in the near future. It would be nice to be more settled.
I love this post on fairies, as well as how you imagine them in nature. Love Yeats. Such a gifted poet.
Good luck with the move. Hang in there. Enjoy this holiday weekend!

Beautiful post. Thanks.
Thank you John!
Of course you have a fairy guardian! It’s a perfect fit, if you ask me!
