In recent days I’ve been feeling some burnout and needed to step back some and get a little rest. I’m still not ready to jump in a give it my all yet, however, I know I have a mess of things to get done and I need to start getting to that mess sooner than later.
It’s not always that easy to just jump into tasks when you are dealing with burnout and exhaustion, but sometimes I find that just setting the intent in my mind makes a big difference for me.
Today’s Daily Affirmations is about getting back on track and regaining your sense of being able to handle all the tasks you have before you. I hope this resonates with you.
Today, as I look at my pile of things to get done, I step back and put each task into perspective so that I can get the tasks done one by one.
Sometimes there is so much to do that it seems overwhelming, like a swarming flock of birds circling about.
It is easy to get pulled down by worry over the sheer volume of things to do and the feeling that things might be spinning out of control.
Today, I start this day with a deep breath and the intent to move forward through my tasks with ease instead of with stress.
And so it is… Intent makes manifest.
I've got this...
Namaste... Pamela

Photos of the Day: All photographs were taken at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge during the annual tree swallow migration in late August.
Thousands of tree swallows gather annually at the PRNWR to feed on insects and berries before migrating south. As you can see by the photos it’s quite a sight to see.
Hi Pamela, this is a good reminder to feel less overwhelmed by all we have to do. Your post resonated with me. And the pictures, as always, are fabulous.
I needed this one today! Thank you Pamela 🙏🏼
