I think I will blame it on the full moon.
I’ve been feeling a little quiet in recent days.
Yesterday we had a supermoon, harvest moon and lunar eclipse all rolled into one. There was really a lot of intense energy in my opinion. The stress seemed to be circuiting around to all of the sensitive, empath types that I know. In the afternoon after a few things not going as planned, I felt a fair amount of full moon angst and I went out and tried to walk it off. The walk was great while it last, however the angst remained.
In thinking about getting a new post together for today, I decided to opt for a little poem from my poetry journal today and some whale boat photos. I feel as though the solitary boats speak to the poem…
Do enjoy!
In Quiet Mourning
In quiet mourning,
I wait
for love.
I say to myself
where can it be.
For in my waiting
I search my soul
and ask of it
why love
does not seek me.
Stay tuned for new posts coming soon…

Point of Interest:
The Whale Boat replica photos were taken at Lowell’s Boat Shop in Amesbury, Massachusetts. The whale boat was one of two built to be filled to the last existing whale ship the Charles W. Morgan, built in 1841. The Charles W. Morgan is on exhibit at the Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Connecticut.
Giclee prints of each of the photos are available for sale in either 8” x 12’ or 14” x 16”. Each print is printed on archival paper, signed by me, and suitable for matting and framing. Please DM me or email me if you are interested.
“Shame on the Moon” was written by Rodney Crowell and covered by Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.
