We’ve had a week of extremely cold weather culminating in it being -12C when we got up this morning, which is highly unusual for us. Lots of snow in places. I’ve actually been out with camera three times this week trying to make the most of it before it warms up and gets windy next week.
Lynn, we have had a very cold spell here too that finally passed yesterday. Put night temps were about the same as yours. I've seen pics on FB of lots of snow in Scotland and Ireland which seems uncharacteristic of both. Weather is changing every where.
Beautiful poems Pamela. Snow has always fascinated humans, perhaps because it is delicate, fresh, pure and white. White is always fascinating, because it's a color in which we can project everything we want.
Your poems and pictures are lovely! I've done two winter landscapes thus far, and it is glorious to work on them. Thank you for showing winter's beauty in words and photos.
Hi Beth, I'm so glad you enjoyed the photos and the poems. I love that you are so committed to your painting. I always enjoyed painting when I was younger and now find it hard to slow my creative energies when trying to paint.
I envy your snowfall Pamela, it is cold here, perhaps too cold for snow even (if that is possible and I question it..) and parts of the north facing hill are frosty all day - but its not snow... its not silent and oh how I love that silence snow brings!
Beautiful poems, I especially love the second one - are we ever wise enough I wonder? xx
Maureen, it seems as though England is a lit snowier than normal. Is that the case or I am just more aware of snow there now?
We’ve had less snow here in recent years. I am grateful for that honestly.

me too!
Really nice poems, Pamela. I especially like the second one.
Neil, Thank you so much. I am so glad you enjoyed. I like the send one the best as well.
Nice poems and it reminds me of how quiet things are when the snow falls. Its been cold here at around 25 degrees
Paul I heard there was some snow in parts of GA. It was wicked here earlier in the week. Spring can’t come soon enough.
Great images! Our snow is at the shapeshifter stage with sneaky layers of hidden ice. Hibernating!☃️💕
Thanks Diane. I too am in the house for the day. We’ve got a little less than 2 inches here.
Took a couple of walks today, and enjoyed walking in the freshly falling snow.
That is wonderful Donald! I love walking in the snow!
Thank you, Pamela

Rolando, Snow is definitely fascinating and lovely until it gets dirty. I enjoy the fresh fallen snow and then I am happy for it to go away!
I enjoyed these poems - especially the second one. No snow here, but I have memories.
Thank you so much Monica. The 2nd poem seems to be the favorite. Thankfully we only got a couple of inches. Just enough for the shovels and plows.
Even the deer have snow on them as they browse in my backyard today- In Michigan
Jill, I love that you have deer in your backyard. They are one of my favorite creatures.

Thank you Pamela, these are lovely poems. As you so eloquently said, the wiser we are the less we know❤️
Thank you Donna, I am so glad you enjoyed.
Beautiful poetry and photography, Pamela. I love that shot of Curzon Mill.
Thank you James! I’m so glad you enjoyed!
Curzon Mill was a my daily view when I lived on Pleasant Valley Road. I have 2 ½ years and 4 seasons of photos of it.

Beautiful poems and photos, Pamela. They give me an even better glimpse into that transcendentalist setting where you lived. Truly inspiring.
